In Labrador, summer temperatures are brief but can hit 25+°C, while the winter climate is somewhat harsher (-20 to -25°C). There is lots of fog in Spring and Fall months. The weather can be quite unpredictable... be prepared to experience all 4 seasons in 1 day!
In the winter, some communities solely rely on skidoo for inter-community travel
Half the communities are fly-in access only, and half are available to drive in
All communities are serviced by 15 seat Twin Otter planes
Most roads are gravel - accessible by trucks, cars, ATVs
